Dispute Resolution Manager – Funds Management

Our client is a well-known credit collection agency and is experiencing solid growth and rapid expansion. They provide specialised services in the acquisition and servicing of consumer debts alongside forms of financial counselling/ advice. They are looking for a dispute resolution manager that can oversee a small team of 3-4 staff.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Facilitating compliance with the ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines
  • Monitoring compliance with policies, obligations, and regulations
  • Investigating and creating appropriate outcomes on complaints received
  • Managing accountability for complaints and internal dispute resolution
  • Identifying breaches
  • Liaising with stakeholders to remedy breaches
  • Ensuring new legislations and changes are implemented successfully

Candidate qualities:

  • 6+ years’ experience in the financial services space
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with a specific focus on managing a team
  • Proactive, disciplined, autonomous
  • Ability to influence outcomes

This role would suit someone who enjoys managing and mentoring a small to medium sized team.
