Our client is an NSW Government body looking for an experienced risk or governance professional. This is an 18-month contract, and a Senior Manager level position.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Monitoring and updating risk and governance registers
  • Managing the risk and control framework, business continuity and incident management processes
  • Engaging with outsourced auditors to develop and report on internal audit plans
  • Performing secretarial and advisory services to the Audit and Risk Committee
  • Providing risk advice and trends to senior leadership

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7-8+ years’ risk or governance experience
  • Prior experience working in Government would be ideal
  • Ability to work in lean-environments and be hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
