Group IT Audit Manager – Medical Device Organisation

Support Global Risk & Assurance Team

$140k-$150k + Super

Our client is a globally listed medical device organisation. This role will support the Global Risk and Assurance Team and will partner with the IT function to help drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading assurance of IT General Controls including; planning, risk assessments, documentation, execution, testing, review, and follow up to ensure resolution of identified issues
  • Support the Head of Risk and Assurance in the design of the risk-based audit plan annually
  • Lead in the planning, fieldwork and execution of business process and systems audits
  • Facilitate and advise the business units globally on improving the organisation’s system of internal controls
  • Identify, design, and develop data analytics extract routines to support audit activities performed by the Internal Audit team
  • Interact with management and business partners to identify appropriate data sources and data elements required for analytics
  • Work with Internal Audit team members, IT, and the Business to outline data requirements

Candidate qualities:

  • 3-5 years of relevant/recent data analysis experience in audit, financial, risk management, or technology functions
  • 3-4 years experience in IT systems audits or implementing security controls
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
  • Excellent written skills; technical writing experience
