Taking ownership of the Risk & Compliance function

Our client is a boutique fund manager looking to bring in an experienced Risk and Compliance professional. Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and processes
  • Providing risk and compliance advice and training to the business
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulation
  • Preparing and presenting reports to the Board, Committees, and clients
  • Managing risk and compliance registers, incidents, breaches, and complaints
  • Ad hoc project work as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7-8+ years risk management and/or compliance experience
  • Background in funds/asset management and investment management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Hands on and solutions-oriented
  • Relevant qualifications
